Zodiac ZD23 Retro Upholstery Vinyl.
We are still getting lots of requests for green cracked ice vinyl. I wish I was able to get it for all the those cracked ice vinyl fans out there trying to match a green table set from the 1950′s. Although we still don’t have green cracked ice vinyl, we do have some green and turquoise colored zodiac upholstery vinyl which is pretty cool. So you might want to consider getting some retro kitchen chairs or retro bar stools upholstered in that color instead. What are all of you out there using to match old 1950s kitchen tables that have green cracked ice laminate? Please comment below so our readers can see your suggestions.

I have a full set Table and chairs made of the green cracked ice in near perfect condition, with the exception of one chair. Their is a small rip in one of the chairs seats. And one of the small chrome balls at the top of the table legs is missing. I wanted to fix the one chair but the color in imposable to find.
Does anyone know what they are worth?
I’m not certain what they are worth but I know they are harder to find than the gray, yellow and red cracked ice dinette sets. I have a table with the scalloped sides, but no chairs. SOMEONE IS REALLY MISSING THE BOAT BY NOT MAKING A BIG BOLT OF GREEN CRACKED ICE VINYL 1950′S COLOR…. THEY WOULD SELL HUNDREDS OF YARDS OF THE STUFF…..
I have a green cracked ice set from my mom – circa 1948, it has duncan phyfe style crome legs and 4 chairs – its oval with a leaf. The chairs are badly worn but I have taped them up with clear tape. I just cannot find any green cracked ice vinyl. I have thought about mixing white and yellow but it might be too much. Someone needs to make green cracked ice for all us out here with these wonderful old sets.

We are going to produce green cracked ice vinyl. It will probably take us about 6-8 months to get it all worked out and ordered. We still need to decided on the shade. Do you have any pictures of tables or chair with green cracked ice vinyl? Does anyone? If so please email matt@barstoolsandchairs.com and we will do our best to recreated the original shade.

I too, have a green cracked ice table from the 1950′s. My chairs are red, and I couldn’t find the green or red cracked ice vinyl to recover them in. I bought the red glitter vinyl to for my 4 chairs (I have bar stools that match). I would love to find the green cracked ice vinyl instead.

We are in the process of created the green cracked ice vinyl. It is a lengthy process since we need to approve samples back and forth. We have red glitter vinyl right now. It is called Zodiac Burgundy and it is manufactured by Naugahyde. You can buy this material from Barstoolsandchairs.com.
